Vieworks, a leading provider of medical and industrial solutions, reported preliminary consolidated results for the first half of 2026, with revenue of 122 billion won and operating profit of 19.5 billion won, up 4.2% and 127.4% respectively from a year earlier.
"Global expansion in semiconductor inspection equipment investment was reflected in our machine vision results," a Vieworks spokesperson said.
Medical imaging solutions generated about 91.8 billion won, in line with the prior year. Revenue from dynamic X-ray detectors for dental system customers in Europe recovered from a year earlier.
Industrial imaging solutions, or machine vision cameras, generated about 30.2 billion won, up 24.6%. Demand for cameras used in semiconductor inspection equipment recovered, and sales of customer-specific models centered on TDI line scan cameras expanded. In the second half, the company plans to continue developing products with fiber-optic high-speed interfaces.
In new businesses, the digital pathology slide scanner has moved from supply agreements with customers in the United States and Europe to a Korean pathology society exhibition and demonstrations at major domestic hospitals. The company is reviewing entry into Asian markets.
In the golf segment, covering sensors and launch monitors, Vieworks began full-scale supply of launch monitors to NVisage, a U.S. golf imaging brand, alongside its existing ODM business.
